Caramel - Tinggal Kenangan [Full Album 2008]

Nah ini dia grup band yg sempat bikin heboh dengan cerita seram yg berkembang menjadi beberapa versi, dan akhirnya mereka pun mengaku....

Diawali dengan kisah seorang cewek yang cowoknya meninggal karena kecelakaan. Si cewek nulis lagu berjudul "Tinggal Kenangan" sesaat sebelum dia bunuh diri karena patah hati. Konon si cewek dikenal dengan nama Ully atau Geby (funny ... nama ini ada di cover albumnya Caramel). Setiap orang yang mendengar lagu ini akan didatangi oleh arwah Ully / Geby. The fact, it's all just a hoax setelah mereka muncul di TV dengan video clip "Tinggal Kenangan".

Caramel adalah Angga & Putrie (Vocal), Anang (Guitar), Rozy (Bass), dan Didin (Drum). Lucunya nggak ada personil dengan nama Geby / Ully. Band asal Surabaya meliris album "Tinggal Kenangan" di bawah label Nagaswara, dan menampilkan lagu "Tinggal Kenangan" dalam 2 versi, versi original dan accoustic yang dibantu oleh Tohpati. Album ini sendiri diarahkan oleh Ipang BIP.

Well, lepas dari kontroversi lagu "Tinggal Kenangan", harus diakui bahwa Caramel punya potensi besar sebagai band pencetak hits, selain "Tinggal Kenangan"

Cerita berawal dari sebuah grup band kecil yang ada di pinggiran kota Ponorogo (Jatim), tidak ada yang tahu jelas asal single Jauh (Tinggal Kenangan) yang dinyanyikan (katanya lagi), oleh seorang cewek yang bernama Uli (ada juga yang menyebut Gabby).

Menurut cerita, single Jauh (Tinggal Kenangan) cuma direkam melalui media ponsel, entah teman-teman dapet darimana format mp3 ini. Yang jelas, lirik lagu Jauh (Tinggal Kenangan) sangat menyentuh hati, siapapun yang mendengarkannya, cerita seorang cewek yang kehilangan belahan jiwanya untuk selamanya (menurut cerita, sang kekasih meninggal karena kecelakaan), kemudian dia menciptakan lagu tersebut. Tidak lama setelah menyanyikan Jauh (Tinggal Kenangan) cewek tadi memutuskan untuk mengakhiri hidupnya, karena dia merasa cintanya pada sang kekasih tidak akan pernah terganti.

Ada juga yang menyebutkan, single Jauh (Tinggal Kenangan) tidak boleh disebarkan kemanapun dan dalam bentuk apapun, tapi niat saya mengupload single Jauh (Tinggal Kenangan), murni hanya apresiasi saya terhadap karya musisi sub-urban yang ternyata tidak kalah dari musisi Ibukota. Tapi sayang, format mp3 yang saya dapat dari teman-teman, format bitrate sudah terkompres menjadi "hanya" 32 kbps, tapi tetap tidak mengurangi makna yang dalam pada single Jauh (Tinggal Kenangan).

Akhirnya, selamat mendengarkan sebuah lagu yang tercipta atas keadaan jiwa yang benar-benar kehilangan.

Semoga... "Mereka" bertemu dalam damai di Dunia Sana... Amin....
